FISSH is a group of friends from the United States and the Philippines who have teamed up for a commitment to service.
Our Mission Statement
To glorify God and bear witness of His love, proclaim the everlasting Gospel of Hope and take up the healing ministry of Christ.
We provide affordable health and wellness services as well as extend livelihood and educational opportunities, to the underserved communities in the Philippines. Our Mission Statement is the essence behind our desire to bring a little love, smile and hope to those who have been disparaged, neglected and forgotten. With FISSH, old and new friends have come together to provide service-oriented outreach activities. We are ordinary folk from all walks of life: business owners, doctors, dentists, nurses, educators, lawyers and other professionals who have a heart for volunteering their time, skills and know-how to serve the marginalized and underserved communities in the Philippines.
As one founding member recollects, “As kids, we grew up from diverse backgrounds and from different provinces of the Philippines—but there was one commonality: Christian education.” It was there during those years in school that the bond of friendship was established and strengthened. Truly they enjoyed each other’s company and loved doing things together, so much so that even after those carefree years in school, they have stayed connected even as they went their separate ways. Now, some 40+ years after traveling life’s long and winding road, they have decided to get back and come together again, this time giving back something to the communities they care about… because “in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
Our Goals
To alleviate the impoverished condition of the poor and marginalized, particularly in the rural communities, by promoting human development through education, training and formative self-help programs.

2
To provide educational assistance and skills training to deserving individuals from these impoverished communities by non-formal livelihood educational methods.
3
To initiate people-oriented developmental projects by networking with government agencies as well as with public and private organizations.
4
To accept grants, contributions, donations, financial aid and other forms of assistance whether technical or in-kind for the furtherance of the organization’s programs, stated goals, and purpose.
